Kilburn Older Voices Exchange (KOVE)

We are a group of older people - service users, family carers and volunteers. We aim to improve the quality of life for older people in Kilburn, West Hampstead and beyond! KOVE is involved in a number of projects including: Loneliness and Isolation, Promoting Well-being, Age-Friendly Kilburn - helping make Kilburn and West Hampstead a more accessible place for older people. Lobbying for improved street seating, campaigning for a community toilet scheme, raising awareness of road safety and seeking safer road crossings. With Transport for All campaigning for accessible public transport. Helping to improve home care standards with service users involvement. All the work that KOVE does is in context of the network of local older people. We also hold annual Kilburn Debates events with invited notable academic speakers.
