At Laurence’s Larder, we offer a warm welcome and freshly prepared food for people who are struggling to make ends meet, both in our local community and beyond.
We are open to everyone and people can attend without a referral from another organisation.
We serve a three‑course meal, and for those in urgent need we also run a food bank, providing two to three days’ worth of dried and tinned food to take away.
We act as a referral partner for the SUFRA Foodbank in Stonebridge. We also run an emergency clothes bank, available during normal St Laurence’s Larder opening hours.
The project is run entirely by volunteers and is supported by many organisations across Brent, including local businesses, restaurants, schools, colleges and faith groups.
Support also comes from:
- The Felix Project
- Sainsbury’s (Willesden)
- Tesco Express
- Wenzel’s Bakery
- SUFRA
- Hindu Temple on Union Road, Wembley.
