Our Time supports children and young people affected by parental mental illness. Over 2.5 million children in the UK are living in families where one or both parents have a mental illness. We create supportive environments for young people affected by parental mental illness, where they can receive explanations about their parent’s condition, build resilience, have fun and be heard. We raise awareness and understanding of this group to secure their recognition within public policy. We develop and deliver tailored services to affected families, and support professionals working with children and young people to better understand this issue.
The Turning Point is currently closed
Until further notice, Brent's Homelessness service will be operating from The Civic Centre. This is a temporary change due to operational issues at the Turning Point building. If you need housing support, please contact singlehomelessnesstls@brent.gov.uk in the first instance. A member of our team will arrange for an officer to call you to complete an assessment.
If you cannot make your own arrangements, you may attend the Civic Centre directly. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
