St Michael the Archangel Church

St Michael's Church was consecrated as a permanent parish church in February 1933 and now serves a multicultural community. We have a weekly social club Wednesdays 12noon – 4pm for the local community providing health awareness information, keep fit, table top games, talks and day trips and outings to various places of interest. We also have a large hall available for hire and suitable for meetings and conferences, wedding receptions, baby showers and birthday parties. The hall is divided into two: the Main Hall is suitable for large functions with a capacity of 200 people/130 seated around tables and is available for hire Monday to Saturday all day and Wednesdays from 4pm only. The Small Hall is suitable for meetings, classes, children's parties with a capacity of 90 people/50 seated around tables and is available for hire 6.30pm Monday to Friday and all day on Saturdays. The halls have kitchens, wheelchair accessible toilet, gents and ladies toilets, stage (Main Hall), professional DJ-PA and sound system (Main Hall) and car park for a small number of vehicles.
