We are a registered charity dedicated to tackling in-work poverty by helping workers exit poorly paid, unprotected, and insecure employment. We offer free accessible and confidential support to EU migrants in the UK who are at risk of exploitation by employers, who do not know how to access their rights, who do not understand what is needed for lawful employment, or need support to get back into the labour market after a break. If you have an employment question, please come to our weekly Saturday sessions 10am-4pm at Wembley Library. Alternatively, please email us and we will respond to you on the following Saturday.
Water main repairs on High Road, Willesden
Thames Water is carrying out essential repairs to an old water main on High Road, Willesden. To keep traffic flowing, temporary traffic lights and parking suspensions are in place. Unfortunately, some motorists are ignoring these restrictions, causing significant congestion. Please do not park in the suspended bays.
The works are expected to last until the first week in October. If possible, please avoid the area during this period. Thames Water apologises for any inconvenience.
Changes to bin collections due to hot weather
To help our collection crews during this week's hot weather, bin collections will begin an hour earlier than usual. For all collections from Tuesday 12 - Thursday 14 August, please make sure you put your bins, sacks and containers out by 6:00am to avoid missed collections. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
