A visitor household permit is available to residents who live within a controlled parking zone.
It is a paper permit which the permit holder can display in any vehicle, and allows that vehicle to park in a resident parking bay or shared use bay within the named street (or part of the street) shown on the permit.
About the permit
- Only one permit can be purchased per household
- Permits are available for 3, 6 or 12 months
- Your permit can take up to 5 working days to arrive in the post
- The permit is only valid when it is clearly displayed in the windscreen of your visitor’s vehicle. If you do not display the permit correctly, you may get a penalty charge notice and/or removal of the vehicle.
