Faulty street lights

We are responsible for around 21,000 street lights which are based on the public highway, parks and some roads on housing estates.

Please use this form to tell us about a faulty street light or to report a concern about the lighting level.

Before you start

• We will ask you for some contact details.
• You will need to tell us the location of where the faulty light is.

What happens next

We aim to carry out repairs to faulty street lighting within 48 hours of it being reported.

If the fault is due to the power supply, it is the responsibility of the UK Power Network to fix and it may take up to three weeks to repair. 

Where this is the case we will place a notice on any faulty street lighting furniture explaining why it cannot be fixed immediately.
