Gibbons Recreation Ground occupies about four hectares in area, and is a fantastic open space with views towards Wembley Stadium in the distance. The irregular shape includes access via footpaths to several roads and to other local urban green spaces.
A canal feeder snakes along the southern perimeter and there are three local allotment sites nearby as well as the small, Brentfield Open Space.
It offers both 11 a side and 7 a side grass football pitches for hire through the Council's sports service. There is a multi-use games area for basketball and 5-a-side football and a free to use outdoor gym with resistance machines. There are regualr fitness activities taking place within Gibbons Recreation Ground, some of which are free for the local community.
