Street parties

Street parties and fetes are a traditional part of community life. Everyone on your street can join in and it's a great way to get to know your neighbours.

Residents who wish to hold a street party can download our guide below, containing information and resources to help you organise your street party event, including the application form.

Street party fees

• Ad-hoc street parties and special events on non-traffic sensitive streets - £200 + VAT

Please note: If you want to organise your party in a park or green space please contact us to discuss.  

Street party road closures and parking

We will require a minimum of six weeks notice for street parties for approvals and to carry out the required procedures to close a road.
