In Brent we want all our residents to live their best life safely and independently in their local communities.
But if you need extra support due to a disability, long-term condition, mental health needs, or age, we are here to help you live a fulfilling life.
What is Adult Social Care?
Unlike NHS healthcare, social care aims to support you in your home, care home, or community. Our dedicated teams work with you to provide the care and support you need, right where you feel most comfortable, to live your best life.
There are a range of services available, including:
- Personal care – help with daily tasks like washing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Residential care – care home support for those who need ongoing assistance or 24-hour support
- Reablement services – short-term help to help people who want to regain skills, independence or confidence in your home
- Day care services – social activities and support in the community
