Sign up to this year’s garden waste subscription service and be in with a chance of winning free garden waste collections and a voucher to help garden’s bloom.

Anyone who signs up to the service by Monday16 March 2026, will be automatically entered, with three lucky winners receiving:

  • A full refund of their 2026/27 garden waste subscription
  • A £50 Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) gift voucher to help spruce up their garden and outdoor spaces

With spring under way and residents spending more time outdoors in their garden, now is the right time to sign up.

Green waste, such as leaves, plants, grass cuttings and other garden waste, can be conveniently collected to keep gardens clean and green, saving residents trips to Abbey Road Re-use and Recycling Centre.

All garden waste collected in Brent is taken to a local processing facility, where it is turned into compost, supporting the borough’s environmental goals.

“

The fortnightly collection costs just over £5 per month and saves trips to the tip.

Councillor Krupa Sheth,
Cabinet Member for Public Realm & Enforcement

Councillor Krupa Sheth, Cabinet Member for Public Realm & Enforcement said: “If you’re green-fingered, you probably already have subscribed to Brent’s garden waste collection service. This prize draw is to thank residents for signing up early before your grass has a growth spurt.

“The fortnightly collection costs just over £5 per month and saves trips to the tip, which means you will have more time to enjoy your garden. Together we can keep Brent clean and green.”

All residents who subscribe or renew their subscription by Monday 16 March 2026 will be entered automatically. Winners will be selected at random and contacted after the closing date.
