Amend, replace or cancel your parking permit

Replacement vehicles (courtesy or hire car)

If you have a Resident permit, you can apply for a temporary vehicle change online.

The temporary permit will be valid for 28 days, after this time, the permit will go back to the original vehicle, the application was created for.

Log in to your RingGo app or through your online RingGo account and select the "Edit" button on the relevant application.

You can change the permit back to its original vehicle manually, before the 28 days is up.

Cancel your permit

If you are moving out of your current controlled parking zone you will need to cancel your permit.

Please note: If you have moved into a different parking zone within the borough, you still need to cancel your existing permit before applying for a new one. We are unable to amend your permit and new documentation will need to be supplied.

To cancel your permit, log in to your online parking account, and select the edit button on the relevant permit application and select 'Cancel Permit'.

Once you have cancelled your permit, it will take place with immediate effect. If you are due a refund, it will be applied to card used for the original payment method.

Refunds

If you are entitled to a refund we will process it within 20 working days.
A refund will be up to one third of the cost of the remaining value on the permit.
Refunds will be credited onto the original payment card used to purchase the permit.
In the event the payment card has expired refunds will be credited to the linked bank account.
We will also send you an email confirming your permit cancellation and the value of any refund due.

Change of vehicle (permanent)

If you need to change the vehicle on your Resident permit on a permanent basis, you will be required to cancel the application.

To cancel your permit, log in to your online RingGo account and select the "Cancel permit" option.

You will be sent a pro rata refund, minus a £10.00 admin fee. The refund will be issued to the card that payment for the permit was made.

You will need to create a new application for the new vehicle.

If you need to change the vehicle on your Wembley Event Day Permit this permit is non-transferable. Any changes will require you to cancel your permit and reapply.
