Travel and transport
We are aware that Zip Car may be ceasing their operations in the UK at the end of 2025. We recognise that car clubs are valued by many of our residents - offering a flexible transport option without the need and expense of owning a car. We also recognise the important contribution car clubs make in reducing parking congestion and in ensuring that there are fewer car journeys on our roads, in line with our transport and environmental policies. We are liaising with other service providers about taking over Zip Car parking locations in the borough.
