Death and funeral services

Due to the end of the Coronavirus Regulations, from 5pm on Thursday 24 March 2022, you can no longer register a death over the phone. You will need to come into the Civic Centre. After this date, we can also receive the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death (MCCD) electronically from the NHS or you can have the original document at the appointment.
